Jessica Hughes

Jessica is a certified counselor, devoted wife and mama of two, and an advocate for maternal mental health. Fueled by her personal experience with postpartum depression, Jessica blends her expertise in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, Prenatal, Postpartum, and Baby & Me Yoga, and clinical experience with a genuine passion for women's mental health and well-being. 

Behind her academic foundation and Yoga Alliance credentials, Jessica's emotional resilience shines. Having navigated her own postpartum challenges, she brings an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to maternal transitions. 

Balancing clinical expertise with personal experience, her journey with pear is a heartfelt response to the gaps she experienced in postpartum care. 

Jessica brings specialized training to pear with additional training from PSI in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and she is fully EMDR trained. She strives to provide a sanctuary where women, children, and families receive the support they need and deserve.

We also extend compassionate counseling services and additional resources to young adults and adult women navigating fertility, providing a nurturing space to navigate and heal emotional challenges.
